“I work primarily in oils and focus on contemporary realism. Whether I’m in the studio or painting plein air, I aim for each piece to evoke a feeling, a quiet connection between the viewer and the subject. Through a moody landscape, or an intimate still life, I try to capture the poetry of the everyday. There’s beauty in the overlooked and ordinary—I paint to celebrate those moments and to remind myself, and others, to pause and take them in.”
